Well I have defied all the doctors and decided to start Adam on cereal. I guess the new recommendation is to wait till 6 months! Well, I'm "the Mom" and I feel he is more than ready. Here are pics of his first taste of rice cereal...messy face and all!

Its THAT time...
Well its time to lose the baby weight...ekkk! Let me just say I hate this process (don't we all???) but it needs to be done. Adam is 4 months old and I'm going to be in a wedding and my husband will be home in May and I want to be healthy for myself and family...yada yada yada...there are a million reasons! So off I go to lose the weight! I went to the gym today, I'll be honest I haven't been since I was 4 months prego...YIKES! It kicked my butt and felt good at the same time. Wish me luck!

Sometimes its the little things...
My 4 year old going on 14 is obsessed with the show Teenage Mutant Ninga Turtles! He loves it and reminds me everyday that its a b-o-y show! He's very into what is for boys and what's for girls these days! When I saw this shirt I had to get it for him. He LOVES it and has insisted on sleeping in it the past 2 nights...hopefully he'll let me wash it soon...naw, he'll probably tell me not to since b-o-y-s are suppose to be dirty!

Heading to the Chapel!
What a week its been. I have been really busy but can't think of anything important I did! The best news I got this week was my best friend is getting MARRIED! Alayna and I have been friends since we worked together at Ross at age 16. We went to the same high school but didn't really know each other since she was a year behind me. We have managed to stay best friends for 13 years! Our friendship is extremely important to me. We have had so many adventures together; from our wild college days to trying to find out who we were in our early twenties to now building our own families. She has always given me encouragement and support through all my decisions! I can't wait for her special day...May 17! And the best part is, she's marrying a wonderful man who adores her! Here's to best friends and all the secrets we have on each other!!
Here's the happy couple!

My new favorite product
Sometimes I feel like I'm a little behind here in Germany! Our stores have 1/5 of what the States have to offer. So when my wonderful friend Erin told me to get this new (at least to us) razor I jumped on it. She RAVED about it and I must say she was RIGHT!!! I love this thing! Its a little pricey but some things are worth paying for!! Here's to my new favorite product! I'm sure everyone has been using this for years...haha

I've got the winter blues
Its no secret Loren and I just aren't fans of the cold! Actually that's putting it nicely, we hate it! So needless to say since I'm a California girl and Loren's a Florida boy Germany's winters have taken a lot of getting used too. We have lived here 3.5 years and we are still trying to get used to it. I just don't enjoy freezing the minute you walk outside, dressing myself and the boys in 4 layers of clothes (and five minutes after doing so Seth will have to use the bathroom), scarping ice off my windshield every morning, shoveling snow off my sidewalk and driveway, constantly having a snotty nose, having to stay inside for 4 moths...okay my rant is over! Thank God next month I will be in California! Oh, how I can't wait!!!!!
Well, this past weekend it snowed! Which is okay I guess, if its going to be this cold (high is 12!!!) it might as well snow so everything looks pretty. Seth on the other hand loves the snow and would play in it all day if I let him. Here are some pics of him enjoying it...

Let's go bowling!
One of the things we love to do as a family is bowl. Loren and I are pretty competitive people by nature so bowling is always a fun option for us. Luckily, Seth loves to bowl too! We started going as a family when he turned 2 and he just can't get enough of it! Its really a fun activity to do when your in cold cold cold Germany (our high today was freakin 27!!!). So we took my Dad with us and had a BLAST!
Adam slept through the whole thing...3 hours in a loud bowling alley...he's my little angel!

Bath Time FUN
It has been our deal that Loren does that baths and I do the diapers. It works great for us! I've always enjoyed my 30 minutes to catch up on emails, watch the Colbert Report, or make a phone call without having Seth talk to me at the same time (come on Mom's you can relate, I'm sure!!) Well as you know, Loren is gone for 5 more months and that promotes me as the diaper and bath girl. I can't tell you how much FUN I've had doing the baths with the boys! Now I know why Loren never once complained about bath duty! Seth loves his bath and is so fun to watch him make up little games with his toys. Adam loves his bath too and somehow gets more water on the floor than in his bath, boy is it cute! Here are the boys enjoying bath time!
Of course Seth has to have a million toys in there with him...haha!
