Sesame Street Live

Thanks to the USO we were treated to Sesame Street Live (free by the way)! The boys loved it and danced as the characters sang all the songs from Sesame Street. Adam surprised me the most by dancing right along with them. I wasn't sure if he would be scared of them.

Seth loved cookie monster the most and Adam just loved Elmo!
The USO gave those Elmo toys to every kid- Seth hasn't stopped playing with it!

Adam's first haircut

Okay these pics are terrible! But I have to show them. I took Adam to get his very first hair cut on his birthday. I wasn't sure if I wanted to cut his little goldilocks but it was starting to get in his face. And I absolutely do not trust myself with scissors so it was off to the stylist. I got referred to a lady who does hair in her basement. It went really well, Adam just sat there the first 5 minutes and drank his juice. The last 2 minutes or so he started to get wiggly but never once did he cry. She was very patient and fell in love with my little blue eyed boy. He looks so different to me without his little curls in the back. At first I regretted doing it but now have gotten used to it and love it! He looks like a little boy rather than a baby now...sniff, sniff!

The pics loaded wrong and I don't have the time to fix them. So just look at them backwards :)

After the cut!

Look at how well he is doing!

Give him juice and he is a happy boy!

lol love this one!

The before pic!

He looks sad here but really he wasn't!

Another before pic!

A pic I took at home, before the cut, shows the back of his hair.

1st day of Pre K

Seth finally started Pre K on Monday! What a journey it has been enrolling him in this class....whew! Its M-F 8:30-11:30. And the best thing is...he LOVES It!! Seth's a very smart kid (like his Daddy!) and needs to be challenged. I was worried that the program wasn't going to do that for him. Honestly, it probably won't, but for 3 hours a day he gets to paint/color/read books/play outside/and be around kids his own age. He will have years and years of homework so I figure as long as I'm working with him at home he will be fine. The web offers so many things you can print that will help your child with reading/writing/math skills.
Here is Seth eating breakfast at 7 am...an hour earlier than what he is used too. I made him his favorite on his first day, "daddy's waffles"

So excited to go to school!

So the bottom line, Seth is happy and that makes me happy!
