It's FASCHING TIME!

Fasching, the only day of the year you'll see German's smile....haha That was how fasching was explained to me when we first moved here and boy is it the truth! But a better explanation is the German Mardi Gras. We decided to celebrate the day by going to the local parade. We had so much fun. It was pretty cold and I didn't dress the kids warm enough but besides that we had a great time. The parade had little floats, the USAFE band, and a ton of German's dressed up in costumes throwing candy at the crowd. That simple fact alone, made Seth love the parade!
Here are the pics from our fun day!

Waiting in the cold for the parade!

Yep, still waiting...

I didn't dress him very warm so he had to stay in there the whole time, but true to Adam's style he didn't mind and was wonderful!

Waiting still but its getting closer!

Waiting, but Seth's okay since he made friends with other kids

Well if we have to wait an hour and a half we might as well enjoy the local food!

FINALLY, the parade begins and Seth is so excited to hold out his bag for the candy!

The parade!

The USAFE band!

Seth's favorite "float"
