Seth knows that one of his birthday gifts is to spend a weekend at an amusement park. For his 5th birthday he picked Legoland...no surprise, this place is prefect for little kids! He actually likes this better than Disney (more rides...my kid for sure!). This year we went with the Manis family who also have 2 little boys. It really was a wonderful weekend. We hardly hit any traffic (very shocking since we had to go thru Stuttgart!) and the hotel we stayed at was 5 minutes from Legoland. The hotel has an awesome indoor kids play area that we spent a lot of time at as you can imagine. All the boys got a long so well, which they always do so that wasn't a big surprise. Saturday was awesome, no crowds and perfect weather. The boys got to ride on everything that day! Sunday was busier and it was pretty chilly so we were happy we got the 2 day pass. Sunday is family day in Germany so it didn't surprise us when the crowds were heavier. I can't say it enough, the trip was AWESOME! Seth had a blast...soon I will post pics of his b-day party. Yep he got both, I know, he's spoiled!
I have a over 300 pics but these were my favs! Enjoy!

5 new things
Pumpkin Patch
Its that time of year; pumpkin patch time! Seth's Pre-K class took a field to Sunshine Farm which is over 200 years old! Loren had the day off so we were lucky enough to be able to go as a family. The pumpkin patch is really that, a patch of pumpkins. Not like the states where you have games/rides. Once the kids picked out their pumpkin we got on a tractor (seth's fav part!) and went to the farm. The farm has cows, chicken's, and horse's. Adam loved all the animals but had a real love for the chicken's...haha He was so cute and tried to chase them. Seth had a great time and it was so nice to spend the day together before Loren went to Italy for 10 days.
The boys and their pumpkin's, I thought it was funny that Adam wanted the bigger one!

Happy Fall
This is my favorite time of year in Germany. The weather is crisp, leaves are orange/yellow/red, and the feeling of the Holidays is near.
Here are some pics of my crazy boys with their halloween shirts on...yes I'm that Mom who makes sure they have a shirt for every holiday, haha!
They looked adorable and fill my heart with joy...

Farmfest
Farmfest, aka a German pumpkin patch. We went with our friends Evan and Trisha and had a great time. It has HOT day in Germany though which made it a little uncomfortable to be outside with no shade. I love the fall and this was a great way to start off the season...even if it felt more like summer.
Good food, corn maze, shopping...FUN!
